Meet Our Team

Dr. Stefanie DePaul, PT, DPT, FDN, CSCS, RYT
Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, & a Registered Yoga Teacher; Stefanie decided to create a Health & Wellness company that would collaborate her skills & bring convenience to her patients. Stefanie brings an intimate knowledge of health & fitness to her treatment style, with 15 years of Physical Therapy & Personal Training experience. Stefanie Personal Trains clients, teaches our Yoga Classes, & Leads the Weekly Running Club. Stefanie completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at The University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007. She received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in 2012.

Dr. Olivia Maeder, PT, DPT, FDN
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Originally from a small town in southern Vermont, Olivia pursued an interest in physical therapy after being treated post surgically on her foot during high school. Olivia graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2020 and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy a year later in May 2021. In her recent clinical affiliations she traveled to Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado before deciding to call Boston home again. 

Dr. Alyssa Lubin, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Alyssa graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science in 2018 and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac in 2021. Originally from New Jersey, after graduating from PT school, Alyssa decided to move to Boston with her Fiancé. Alyssa has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, outpatient pediatrics, school- based pediatrics and acute care, with a special interest in pediatric orthopedics.

Shaina Gedeon, BS
Physical Therapy Aide

 My name is Shaina Gedeon and I graduated from University of Massachusetts - Lowell with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology in May 2021; GO RIVERHAWKS! Throughout my four years of college, I have been able to challenge myself both academically, professionally, and socially. I have plans to continue this growth by gaining experience and being the best that I can be in treating and elevating people. 

AnnMarie Farma, MS
Office Coordinator

Before working at Boston Health & Wellness, AnnMarie had a 20+ year career in Financial Services and several temp jobs. 


AnnMarie enjoys working with people and watching them get better with Dr. Stefanie’s therapy, guidance and instruction. She has found it challenging to learn the ins and outs of insurances, but has mastered it.


She has been married a long time with has a 21 year old daughter, Claire. The family is all Patriots fans. She enjoys going to and watching Patriots games, the theater and the annual Jimmy Buffett concert. She also enjoys paper crafts.


The office would not run without AnnMarie!

Erica Stevenson, BS
Patient Coordinator

Before working at Boston Health & Wellness, Erica worked as an Administrative Assistant & Operational Manager at design shoe industry.  


Erica has immense experience as a Customer Account Manager.  Erica had volunteered at her children’s schools throughout many years. Based on previous experience, Erica holds strong skills in customer care service. 


In the meantime Erica enjoys traveling. Exploring a beach vacation is her most favorite.


Erica is the first person you see when you walk through the door at the office. She is always warm and welcoming with a smiling face!

Diane Caruso, MS. Ed, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant

 While working as  a Physical Therapist Assistant at Boston Health & wellness, Diane is also working full-time as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education for North Shore Community College’s PTA program. 


Diane completed her Bachelors of Science in Sociology at Salem State University. After working for a few years, she completed her Associates in Science/ PTA program at NSCC in 2006 and  became a licensed PTA. During her practice so far, Diane has worked in various clinical settings such as the school system, subacute and home care. Diane recently completed her Master’s in Education at St. Joseph’s College. Her primary responsibilities within the PTA program include teaching and coordinating clinical education and clinical placements or all students in the program. 

Amanda Iacono, RYT
Fitness & Yoga Instructor

Amanda is a high energy corporate wellness professional with a passion for helping people reach their full potential physically, emotionally, nutritionally, and professionally.  She has 20+ years as a certified Group Fitness Instructor, Integrative Nutrition Lifestyle Coach, and a YogaWorks 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher.  

Komako Tsugata, PTA/s
Physical Therapy Aide

 Komako is currently a PTA student in North Shore Community College. She joined the team to gain more experience in treating patients, to pursue her career to become a Licensed PTA. Her goal is to continue her education to be Geriatric Specialist in rehab settings. Komako has worked as a clinical associate in various clinical settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing homes, before working at Boston Health & Wellness. 

Carol McCarthy, MS
Pilates Instructor

After several years of practicing pilates, I decided to become an instructor and share my passion with others. As a Personal Pilates Instructor I will provide you with the tools to engage both your mind and body. I will help you develop realistic fitness goals and keep you on target to reach these goals. 

Pilates will strengthen your core, release tension, improve flexibility and restore the body to balance. Pilates will counterbalance these activities by uncurling the body, lengthening the spine and leaving you walking taller and feeling more energetic.

Sarah Medina
Patient Coordinator

Sarah has extensive client services experience from both the marketing communications and interior design fields. Her interests lie in helping people achieve optimum health through a holistic approach to wellness. Seeing firsthand the devastation of Parkinson’s Disease on a loved one, Sarah is exploring how to manage chronic conditions through food and is currently enrolled in a functional nutrition certification program. Her ultimate goal is to help the well-being of older adults.


Sarah is passionate about cooking, traveling, and learning new skills. She is a self-taught woodworker and loves to refinish furniture in her spare time. 

Mr. Samuel Adams, ESA, PSD
PT Puppy & Emotional Support Animal

Samuel Adams grew up in downtown Boston. Samuel is a well-trained puppy and is very friendly with all the people and dogs. He has 5 years of experience playing with people and making them feel happy and comfortable. 


Samuel believes in physical as well as mental health benefits and has recently completed a 3 mile run on The Bike Path in Stoneham, MA. Samuel is known as "The PT Puppy!" He is a licensed Emotional Support Animal as well as a licensed Psychiatric Service Dog. 


Samuel's main office duties include being our Office Greeter, sitting on patients while they Heat, and supporting all patient on the turf during exercises. He is always excited to welcome our patients and clients in the door by Greeting them with LOVE and a wagging tail!
